Ella is usually our shy, laid back, clingy baby who doesn't like strangers. That all changed when she was the only baby yesterday. She was laughing with the doctor and being very funny. She wanted to help the doctor hold the light stick that she was using to look at Ella's pupils, she burped in the doctor's face and then laughed really loud, and was just being goofy the whole time. After the appointment we went to the building next door because my mom was there doing a training class or something. My mom brought Ella into a room filled with women and Ella let these women, she'd never met, hold her! She was like a totally different baby without her brother and sister around. When she wasn't being a total goof, she sat quietly in her stroller and people watched with me. She is definitely my child!

Ella's ophthalmology follow up
Yesterday I took Ella in to follow up with the ophthalmologist. I was told again that she is perfectly fine and was just born with a wonky pupil. Wonky is my word. The doctor said "it's physiological." The good news is it seems to be getting better. 2 months ago she measured her pupils and there was a 2mm difference in the light and in the dark. Yesterday there was only a 1mm difference. As we were leaving she told me to bring all 3 babies to get their eyes checked when they're 2 years old.
