We celebrated Mark's first official Father's Day! I don't even know where to begin when it comes to talking about what an amazing father he is. I knew he would be great, but he's even better than I imagined. He is so selfless when it comes to the babies and I am so thankful for him! He does so much as a father and a husband to provide for us so that I can stay home and raise these little boogers the way we want them raised! I will never be able to repay him for everything he's done, but I try to by telling him I love him every day and frequently thanking him for giving me such beautiful babies! I have collected my favorite pictures of him with the babies for this post :)
He started his journey through fatherhood with babies in the NICU and sleepless nights. Lots of diaper changes and bottle feedings!
And a few very short naps!
Then we had 1 baby at home, which he later told me was a very scary night for him!
He was more than willing to do this so I could try to take pictures of the babies for their birth announcement
Or when I wanted to make fun of this funny picture
Then came long days and nights of constant feedings and cuddles
They watched their first Texas State game together
Then it started to get a little easier when they started sleeping through the night. They were all alert at the same times during the day!
(Ella is bigger than Emily here. It's weird since she has been the tiniest baby for months!)
This is my favorite picture of Mark and Ella!
Mark watching Tv with Trippster
Napping with an overtired Emily who refused to sleep in her own bed
They love to stare at him!
And finally, this is what the babies got Mark for Father's Day. He said it was a little big-headed, but he knows we have some adorable babies, so gave in and wore this shirt all day long!
Happy Father's Day Mark. Emily, Ella, Tripp and I love you more than anything! You are the greatest daddy we could ask for and I'm so happy that we are in this together! Love you :)
